The following list of small type passages has been completely checked
and verified by Maurice A. Robinson and Jussi Ala-Konni.

Words printed with small type in the Antoniades 1904 original edition
(also found in 1912 corrected reprint edition) indicate material
lacking sufficient Greek support or weakly supported alternate readings
for liturgical purposes. In the current electronic edition of the
Antoniades text, all small-type readings (totalling 209) are enclosed
in brackets [ ]. The passage 1Jn 5:7b-8a is enclosed in double brackets
[[ ]] due to its unique printed form in italicized small type,
reflecting its particular non-authentic status as determined by
Antoniades and described in his preface as being included solely on the
basis of an "opinion of the Holy Synod" issued in 1898.

Some other readings that normally would be rejected even from
liturgical use on the basis of both continuous-text and
lectionary-based Greek manuscript testimony, such as Ac 8:37, 15:34,
24:6-8 also appear in small type.

Reprints of the Antoniades Patriarchal edition dating from 1929 and
later have been severely remiss in not retaining the small type for all
words so designated within the original 1904 and 1912 editions. The
present document overcomes that deficiency by presenting in brackets as
well as in a tabulated list a complete citation of all words printed in
small type within the original 1904 and 1912 Antoniades Patriarchal
editions.

In the following list, some unbracketed words are included as necessary
in order to provide proper context for the 209 total bracketed
readings. The number of bracketed readings for individual New Testament
books is given in parentheses following each book's title.
